Twice Over
Pictured are side-by-side images of the same set of digital instructions, performed twice by a drawing machine. Each design is generated on a computer and then plotted using a machine that draws with a blue ballpoint pen. It’s a project about introducing imperfections into a digital process; paper tears, pens run dry, no print is the same. Often the “mistakes” are the most interesting part.
